Paola Fiocco, a.k.a Queen, is the head of the IBT program here at North Park. She was born in Toronto, Canada, but has family from the southern part of Rome. She currently teaches Grade 11 Marketing and Grade 9 Information and Communication Technology in Business (BTT). She is also the Lead Advisor for DECA, a club that prepares leaders and future entrepreneurs for careers in business by building up their leadership skills via conferences and competitions. Ms. Fiocco likes the finer things in life. She enjoys racing Porsches, collecting handbags, taking care of her family, pampering her dogs, skiing, and traveling. Eminem, her celebrity “husband”, has always been her favorite singer. If you had a class with her, you would often hear her mentioning him every day. You would also know that she owned her own business as a certified childbirth educator. During our interview, Ms. Fiocco was thrilled to be featured in our newspaper.
