On Thursday, May 30th, the Athletic Banquet was held in the cafeteria where students and coaches came together to celebrate. The glow-in-the-dark theme amplified the fun at the event. Students were asked to wear black outfits so their awards could shine in the dark.
North Park athletes were provided with excellent food for their performance throughout the year. Cheers of enjoyment of the food could be heard and the anticipation could be felt from even outside the school.
Following the servings of food, the athletes were rewarded through a plethora of awards, which honored their heartfelt dedication and representation of North Park Secondary School. To mark an end to the night, students were able to participate in friendly rallies with their teammates in the school gym playing a variety of sports such as volleyball and basketball.
Overall, this year’s athletic banquet acted as the perfect ending to all of our dedicated athletes’ journeys.
