On May 17, the graduating class of North Park attended a breakfast to commend the efforts of all students. The breakfast took place in the cafeteria for the first 2 periods of the day.

The grad breakfast was a bustling event with food, awards, and lots of fun. Hosted by SAC, the gradbreakfast was MC’d by Tryston Hall-Luckman and Vasundhara Kalia. The food selection featured a variety of breakfast items such as pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, breakfast wraps, yogurt, and so much more!

A variety of awards were also announced to both students and teachers. There were two valedictorians, one from IBT, Afrah Khan, and one from the community, Maryrose Rimando. Some other awards were ‘Best Dressed Teacher’ which was given to Mr Panwar, ‘Female Class Comedian’ went to Victory Agbontean, and the ‘Most Likely to Win a Nobel Prize’ award went to Arya Manjaramkar.

After winning the award for ‘Best Driver’, Janavhi Wadhawan said, “It felt nice, like an achievement, but it was a little embarrassing.” Many students who attended, stated that the food was good, the veggie wrap was great, but the potatoes were unseasoned and slightly cold. Another recommendation from some grade 12s was to have more games.

The activities at grad breakfast included a raffle entrance in which the participants could win teddy bears, there was a photo area to take polaroids, and the overall theme colors were gold and white. Another participant, Divya Rana, said,“ We had a splendid time and the decor was exquisite.” Clearly the grad breakfast was a success and a memorable moment for all the grads who attended.
