As the sun rose above the horizon on the morning of Friday, September 13th, North Park’s seniors gathered around for their senior sunrise, marking an end to their high school journeys. The sunrise watching, which took place at North Park’s football field, was alive with laughter and joy, as well as an overwhelming sense of appreciation.
The sunrise, which began at 6:57 am, was joined by seniors ecstatic to view the breathtaking event. Dressed in cozy pajamas, students relived their high school stories, reminiscing of their years together. Students gathered together to capture their moments through pictures and selfies, showing what the class of 2025 was really made of!
One of the seniors, Bhavini Kaur Sandhu, participated in the sunrise watching and shared her recollections of the event. “You really had to be there to experience it. All the grade 12s were actually here in one place for the first time, but it was nice to see old faces, and talk about all the memories we made over the years.”
The senior event concluded with a celebration of the long-anticipated moment of the sunrise. Students and teachers alike were left in awe as they took in the breathtaking experience. The sunrise marked the close of the seniors’ high school journey and the start of a new journey to come.
