It is with great sadness we announce that Commons Pit, a beloved and respected member of the North Park community, has passed. They were unceremoniously buried during the summer of 2024. Pit was a loving parent and partner. They were a great friend through thick and thin, even during their weird carpeted phase in the 70’s. You would be hard pressed to find someone without a good memory of Pit, whether it be hanging out with Pit during lunch or skipping class, or even Pit breaking your fall after you’ve tripped. They may have covered up Commons Pit, but they can never cover up the memories Commons Pit blessed us all with.
