The Cube Club, which had its first official meeting on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at lunch in room 327, inspires students to take an interest in solving Rubik’s Cubes, and helps them improve. The club plans to run every Thursday at lunch.
The founder of the club, Saransh Gujral, is a grade 10 student with over 5 years of cubing experience. He can consistently solve a regular 3×3 cube in under 11 seconds. He expressed how he felt “there wasn’t enough interest in cubing,” and he “hopes to spark it in students by creating a safe, enjoyable environment to learn in.” He wanted people to have fun and learn something new at the same time. Before he graduates, his goal is to get as many people as he can to solve the cube in under 20 seconds consistently. Gujral will teach attendees different ways to solve the cube and pattern recognition methods to be able to solve it efficiently.
This club is for everyone, whether you can solve a Rubik’s Cube or not, and it is definitely worth attending, as practicing routinely is the key to success.
