Wellness Club is a student-run organization dedicated to mental health and, after a pandemic hiatus, they’ve returned this year. They have meetings every other Monday in which they plan and organize calming events focused on enhancing mental, physical, and emotional well-being.

The club has run many wellness activities such as a Fall-Themed Colouring Event, Board Game Day, and most notably the Slime Event. They have many more events planned for the rest of the semester, such as a Mindfulness Meditation Workshop and a Vision Board Creation Day.

Marissa Ramdhan, the co-president of the Wellness Club, recounted, “One experience that I’ll always remember was our big slime event. It was great as we had a huge turnout and I think the management was very good in handling the crowd. It was hard at first. We didn’t really expect such a big outcome, but we all worked together and things went well. One big issue was communication but it took a few minutes and then we kind of had it together. Overall it was a positive experience.”

A focus on mental well-being is incredibly important at this stressful stage of life, and the Wellness Club provides an excellent service with their mental health events.
