The annual club fair was up and running on September 19th, providing many students with the opportunity to explore a variety of clubs that our school has to offer. Students were able to sign up for whatever best suits their interests. The event was designed to foster curiosity, connection and participation among our school community.

Tables and booths were set up in the commons and cafeteria, representing clubs ranging from religious associations to academic opportunities all the way to school involvement and service organizations. Students navigated the fair, got to learn about opportunities they might be interested in by asking questions, and met new people.

“The club fair was amazingly put together and there were a huge variety of clubs. There was something for everyone and all the club leaders were super passionate,” said Aliza Malhotra, a grade 10 student. Both students who were new to North Park and students who were attending for the first time were eager to sign up to anything that interested them. Mehrjapji Gill shared, “I enjoyed the various clubs and opportunities that were being offered at the club fair. I personally signed up for SSA, Giddha, and Hire New Education.”

Although many students were excited to expand their participation at the school, many student leaders put in a lot of time in order for this event to be successful.

From spending countless hours putting together display cases and engaging posters to fun mini challenges to get people engaged, every club was promoting themselves in the best ways possible to reach the right people. Teachers and staff also helped organize and direct the event, guiding students throughout the day.

Students left the Club Fair with new ideas for hobbies, leadership roles and service opportunities. The event, as in the past, was both informative for inspiring and encouraging student involvement for years to come.
