A brand new committee has been formed: the “Supercouncil.” It may sound like a spinoff of the Avengers, but it’s actually composed of representatives from all types of clubs in our school. Together, they make it easy to plan, schedule, and promote events. Ms. Leca and Ms. Grindley helped make this initiative possible.

All club heads who attend the regular meetings can discuss upcoming events together. This makes it easy to coordinate and schedule to make sure there isn’t any overlap. Instead of accidentally having two clubs selling donuts on the same day, they can make adjustments beforehand.

This also allows for better promotion of events. All clubs can work together to spread the word through their social media accounts and online environments like Google Classroom or D2L. “I think that the Supercouncil is a great way for clubs to promote each other’s events,” said Krittika Bhateja from the North Star.

Instead of sending emails back and forth when a club needs volunteers, materials, or a specific space, leaders can ask directly during the meeting. It’s creating order where there used to be confusion. It may not be an actual Avengers team, but it’s the closest thing our school clubs have.
