Students, families, and teachers were welcomed to SAC’s very own Christmas Market on December 11. With many items to purchase, such as baked goods, bracelets, and hot chocolate, this event was a great fundraising opportunity for vendors. With no entry cost, the Christmas Market was accessible for everyone, and it was a place where the community gathered to enjoy the festive season.

The market officially opened during period 4, and extended for a bit after school. Many students came by to buy snacks on their way home, especially hot chocolate. Alisha Jude, a buyer from the market, said “I bought hot chocolate to warm up before stepping outside in the cold weather.”

The market closed at about 2:50 PM but reopened to the public at 6:00 PM for A’n’T Night, welcoming parents and students to witness talented student entrepreneurs and school clubs offering their treats and services.

Throughout the market, there were a variety of club-run booths showcasing their creativity and holiday spirit. Some booths included the SAC Heart for Homes selling hot chocolate, cookies, and candy canes, the Black Diamonds club selling Mr. Puffs, and Model UN selling bakery goods for fundraising efforts. Not only that, but there were non-food items too, like beaded bracelets and henna by Stem for Girls, and a winter themed photo booth by the Photography club!

Overall, the SAC Christmas Market brought the school community together where everyone could feel the festive season. With a wide range of booths and a free entry, everyone was able to take part in supporting the event. The market’s success clearly shows how much everyone enjoyed it, with many attendees being hopeful of future school events like this.
